How it works

Instructions: how GPS tracking works

Here is how our system works at its core. Read it through so you know what to expect when you run a search.

Three steps

From a phone number to a location

  1. 1

    Enter the phone number

Type the number of a family member, friend or your own lost phone — no country prefix needed — and press Start.

  2. 2

    GPS tracking runs

A live search interface scans the number across the network. It usually takes up to 45 seconds, so watch it run.

  3. 3

    See the location

The result pinpoints the phone on the map. If a search doesn’t resolve, double-check the number and try again.
